​Aug 6th 2016: Father Raphael 50th birthday:

I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped to make my 50th birthday and 20th Priestly anniversary a blast. Many, many thanks for all of your sacrifices, especially to Fr. Anthony and the Social Ministry members and other volunteers. I don’t want to start naming names so that I don’t get into trouble!! I deeply appreciate everything you did to make it a memorable day. Many thanks to everyone who gave me monetary or material gifts. I even got 10 scratch off cards. I didn’t win but that’s part of the fun.
We do have a wonderful parish. My visitors and even some Facebook friends in Nigeria commented on all you did for me. One other wonderful part of all that is that everything the committee put together was done without any cost to the parish due to your most generous donations. We even had Sylvester and Ndidi, who joined the parish recently, volunteer to do the video and pictures, all for free. Everyone was eager to help out. For these and many other ways you show me that you care, I remain eternally grateful.
Your actions encouraged me even more to continue to give of myself in the ministry here at St. Bart’s. I am proud of you and happy to be here

June 12th 2016

St. Bartholomew’s couples who are celebrating their 25th or 50th Wedding Anniversary anytime this year (2016) are invited to attend the 11:30 a.m. Mass on June 12th. They will be blessed and honored during the Mass which will be followed by a Reception in the McManus Parish Center. Please call the Parish Office to register and tell us how many guests you might be expecting at the Reception.

March 22nd 2016: Mass of Chrism will be celebrated this year on Tuesday,  March  22nd,at 4 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.Every  parishioner  is  encouraged  to  attend  this  beautiful ceremony, where we celebrate with the Archbishop of our Archdiocese and witness our priests renew their vow to serve God’s people with the humility of a good shepherd. Please come support our own parish priests. To help plan an appropriate size bus, please call the Parish Office ASAP if you plan to attend

March 22nd 2016: Our Social Ministry will be providing Easter Food Baskets to some of our less fortunate brothers and sisters. The items we are requesting to enhance the holiday spirit of our baskets are candy, fresh / canned fruits or fresh/frozen desserts. The baskets will be distributed on Tuesday, March 22nd. The food pantry can always use pasta sauces, canned corn, juices and jellies/jams. Thank you for your support.

APRIL 9, 2016: SWEEPSTAKES SOCIAL—SATURDAY - There will be a meeting at McManus Parish Center on Wednesday, February 17th for those who wish to be volunteers and offer assistance prior to and on the day of the social.

April 17th 2016: St. Bart’s Angels Fundraiser Breakfast Sunday, April 17th, after the 8:30 and 10 a.m. Masses, more details to follow
