Ministry Purpose/Goals
The primary focus of St. Bart’s Network Program is threefold:
To provide extra practical assistance and support (including prayerful and moral support) to those searching for job and also search for and publicize job opportunities in our local community and the city
 To help publicize rental opportunities in our local community to prospective renters, especially our parishioners
To promote the businesses and services owned or offered by our very own parishioners, through our bulletin (at a cost determined by our bulletin publishers) and through our website (at no charge).  
Specifically offer employment counseling, resources and seminars covering topics like employability skills, resumes, how to win the job race, references, etc.

For Employers, Search Firms and Hiring Agencies
St. Bart’s Network Program invites you to post your open positions on our website … at no cost. The website reaches a lot of people who are seeking job, in job transition, or open to a new career. Our Program provides you with an opportunity to reach qualified candidates.
If you have a job you wish to list, please call the parish office and then email it to us and we will e-mail it to those on our list. 

For Renters and Prospective Tenants
Parishioners and others looking for an apartment to rent or a house to buy could email us or call the parish office.
Likewise, parishioners and others who have space to rent could email and/or call us at the parish office so we could help them to publicize it.

                                          Network Program Coordinator Position Description

The Coordinator
The task of coordinating this program falls on the Commission itself.
The Commission shall appoint one of the members to coordinate this effort.

General Responsibilities of Every Ministry and Committee Chairperson and Coordinator:

Specific Responsibilities of the Network Program Coordinator:

• Invite interested individuals, even non-parishioners, who could help build up and sustain the program and make it a successful endeavor.
  
• Lead the Commission in the task of carrying out the goals of the Program
  
• Maintains updated participant records
  
• Identifies parishioners in need of the services of the ministry
  
• Responds to inquiries from those who need the services of the Program promptly.
  
• Maintains accurate records to provide ministry specific input for various parish reports:
  
• Writes and submits bulletin articles and when appropriate, a thank you for the bulletin, giving a full accounting of number of participants.
  
• Keeps the Commission advised of needs, issues, and positive experiences so they can be incorporated into the planning process.
  
• Presents ministry in a positive light at all times.
  

Time of Commitment

• As needed to coordinate the ministry’s activities
  

Expected Length of Commitment

• Minimum of one year
